[WIP] Mixed-use space for creative exploration for youth
Self-initiated project proposal idea
Project statement: Indonesia possesses an abundance of natural and human resources, yet efforts promoting the integration of creative industries are lacking. I intend to spearhead ventures that leverage Indonesia’s rich biodiversity and hospitable culture to design spaces that encourage intentional value-driven development at the intersection of “ed-tech-play.” Inspired by interactive museum exhibits and outdoor pop-up markets, I have deeply contemplated the connection between physical and social spaces. I am keen in creating mixed-use community spaces in Indonesia, ventures that are currently scarce but increasingly in-demand.

National Park Experience Companion Guide
Sponsor: The Lab at the United States Government Office of Personnel Management
The Lab is a program within the federal government that works with a wide variety of federal agencies to apply human-centered design methods to implement new and improved services. The Lab seeks to build capacity within the federal government to shape more relevant, effective and systems-oriented government services, policies and programs.
Project statement: On January 20, 2021, President Biden signed the Executive Order On Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government. As a case study in the design of equitable and inclusive futures, the National Parks Service (NPS) serves as a rich opportunity to confront a past, present and future experience of a cornerstone federal program. NPS has made recent strides in confronting both inequities reflected in the huge disparity of visitor-ship between whites and people of color and its historical legacy of white supremacy and segregation. How might we shape an anti-racist and more inclusive future for US National Parks?
